Queensbay Mall, the largest shopping mall in Penang, Malaysia to date is located in Bayan Lepas, Penang’s very own Silicon Valley. The structure itself was abandoned half-way through construction for many years before it rose from it’s ashes after CapitaMalls Asia took up the project.
Having a gross built-up area of 2,500,000 sq ft, the mall houses over 400 shop lots spread all over it’s five floors. Since it’s grand opening in 2006, the mall has attracted several international brands which includes anchor tenant AEON.
