Tekken 6
Tekken, the game that popularised the 3D fighting genre, although Sega’s Virtua Fighter was the first 3D brawler, but somehow Tekken seemed to be more popular. Perhaps this was due to the robustness of the character roster and the relatively simple yet deep fighting mechanics.
After years of waiting, next gen console owners can finally see their favorite fighter in glorious HD 3D, this installment is everything that made the series such fun plus more characters and improved eye candy. With over 40 characters on the roster, 6 of which are new, while 2 of the new characters were recently added after the release of the expansion, Bloodline Rebellion. So console owners can rejoice as every single character from the expansion will be included. The story continues with the family feud between the Mishima siblings and gets even more interesting with the appearence of Heihachi’s illegitimate son Lars Alexandersson, we also see Devil Jin in the picture, which Devil will triumph in this Bloodline Rebellion?
Early screenshots and trailers have proved to be very promising, with visual quality as high as always, I for one can’t wait for it’s release later in the year, meanwhile don’t drool over the trailer below.
