Juwita Suwito & Liang live @ Penang
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to attend Juwita Suwito and Liang's concert at Trinity Church Penang when my friend Michelle invited me to join her for the concert, this is one of the 'many' few concerts I've attended in my life so far (hey concert tickets cost an arm and a leg you know!?). Although I am not very familiar with the two performing artsts, I had met Liang in the previous Nuffnang Pajama Party in KL recently, at that time I did not even know who he was (sorry bro, I'm not very updated about the music industry) and thought he was Nuffnang staff or a hired emcee.
I later found out that he was in fact a local artist and visited his website to listen to some of his songs, I found that his songs are actually not bad and a few weeks later from the party who would've known that he would be performing right here in Penang! Honestly my main motivation to attend the concert was to try shooting a live performance, but I really enjoyed the songs as well, this shows that there is indeed hope for the local music industry.
