Final Fantasy: Dissidia

The much anticipated Final Fantasy game for the PSP has finally arrived!! That’s right, the very first Final Fantasy fighting game that we’ve been all yearning for all these years, Final Fantasy: Dissidia has finally hit store shelves in Japan!! As far as graphics, animation and action go, you can rest assure of SquareEnix’s high quality work here, feast your eyes on the opening video below if you don’t believe me.

How good is the gameplay then? To be honest, I can’t really say yet from my playthrough on the first few levels as the enemies were rather easy and weak, but the controls are rather simple to catch on, animation is smooth and fluid, special effects looks promising even for low level attacks.

I’ll keep you posted once I’ve had more time on the game, for now I would say that the game is worth getting regardless, heck it’s Final Fantasy we’re talking about here! How bad could it possibly be?

the play mechanics are actually simple and quite shallow, I play the game for the sheer final fantasy fan boy in me, and of course to watch the cool moves :D I played the japanese version so not really sure what the story is about. Just know good vs evil, haha.
