It was all red with excitement on Armenian Street, Cannon Street, Chulia Street, Soo Hong Lane, Ah Quay Street, Quay Street, Kampong Kolam as celebrations for the Chinese Spring Festival or better known as Chinese New Year were held on this heritage trail of Penang. There were cultural and historical displays along the streets, showcasing Chinese culture which is quite an eye opener for me as well.

Happy Chinese New Year!!

I’m sure there were more interesting things happening at night, however due to time constraints I had to leave at 7pm, it was quite an experience, though the crowd is no joking matter, and you thought traffic jams were bad!
